Elizabeth goes green
Elizabeth has taken the fate of the earth into her own hands... er, feet. She will be joining her friends on Monday as they bike 8 blocks to her school. As long as the weather stays cool instead of frigid, she'll get plenty of exercise and fresh air.

Be careful on the hill!
Technical difficulties prevented her from biking all the way to school today. She's a smart cookie so after reattaching the bike chain for the second time in only 2 blocks she hustled home. Just in time to take the bus (greasy hands and all).
But the whole meeting-friends-leaving-early plan worked out well. So, we're going to look at repairing the bike and give it another go (maybe) tomorrow.

The hill can be gone around by going down to 40th. It is a much less treacherous descent on 40th Street.
