Phelps was described as double-jointed at the knee, a 6-foot-7 wingspan, and other things. They referenced his warmup move on the blocks as being condorlike. That set Elizabeth's 10-year-old creativity in motion.
And I quote:
Then, as Phelps took the lead on the final turn, and Cate and I marveled, Elizabeth responded, "It's because I am super condor man!"Be the condor!BE the condor!Be the morph of a condor and a fish. And a humanIt's condor man!(singing) Super condor man! Super condor man!
Later she modified it to super condo man, because it was easier to say. But I wouldn't mess with success.

super condor man, super condor man... spanning out the lanes just like a condor can...
But do Condors swim?! And if they do, can they swim 1.76m/s? And if Michael "The Condor" Phelps swam into the block without stopping, would he hit at 1/5th earth's gravity and thus float into the air? or would he just weight 49 lbs for a moment?
I mean 39 pounds. Phelps is not even 200, let alone 245!
