In the master bath, I did most of the tearing up of the old (old!) linoleum tile and I managed to lay the easy tiles. Cate finished it off, though, doing all the hard parts.
The kitchen got new hardwood floors. Cate had done a deep clean on the cabinets a couple weeks earlier and we had replaced every appliance in here in the course of our five years in the house.

holy..... crap..... GREAT JOB! I really don't recognize the place!
Yeah, well, wish we'd had the money earlier (tax refund, rebate). But then we'd probably have done something less fun like pay credit cards off.
A) you really should have replaced those two-tone front steps; and
B) you need skinny clothes.
Working on that. Was wearing one of the two or three combinations last night. :)

Wow! I am impressed with all the hard work you guys did to the house!!! I don't think that I have ever seen that much of the kitchen counters...then again, it is easy to have clear counters when no one is using them :-)
Now, all we can hope is that the house sells quickly and you get a fair price ofr it. Any news?
