Mom called me this morning to report that she found Elizabeth's glasses. In the car, where I suggested :) but buried deep in a seat. Sounds familiar.
In the process, she related to me a story from her childhood where a friend of hers named Elizabeth lost a pair of glasses in their car in Chicago. Years later, when Nanny and Pa were selling the car, they pulled the seats out to clean it and found the glasses.
Thankfully this only took a couple of weeks and didn't last all the way to sale. The car is brand-new.

Ahh good thing they have been found! You'll be needed them...doesn't school start soon?
School starts after Labor Day. We got a personal tour from their principal yesterday. So now they know the location of their classrooms, cafeteria, media center, etc. Elizabeth will be in Mrs. Sievert's 5th grade class (she has all sorts of reptiles in her classroom) and Robert will be in Mrs. Sasaki's 1st grade class (she will be teaching Robert some Japanese, her native language).

Sounds like they are going to have a great year! Will you have to drive them in or will they take a bus?
